We have entered a phase where there will be new forms, new arrangements, new structures, new perspectives, and new emerging states of being. I consider this profound shift as a Revolution in Human Being – or rather as a Revolution in Human Becoming.

We are, quite literally, shifting from one set of C-Values – Competition ~ Conflict ~ Control ~ Censorship – to a new set: Connection ~ Communication ~ Consciousness ~ Compassion.

Those generations that come after us will be born as change rather than being born into change – this is a slight yet very significant.

The generation now being born into the world is what I refer to as the Phoenix Generation: those children being born now who will be young adults around 2030.

Kingsley Dennis, PhD, combines his impressive mix of credentials as a sociologist, researcher, and metaphysician in this futuristic vision of what we can expect to see emerging in the phalanx of young people coming of age in the next two decades – the Phoenix Generation. He sees these youngsters moving beyond the abilities exhibited by the so-called Indigo Children and certainly beyond the Bridge Generation that probably includes most of the readers of this book - and what he sees inspires hope.
Probably the main attribute of this generation will be a shift from reliance on wire information nation to an instinctual understanding of all the deeper, interrelated aspects of a situation. He sees the external frameworks of belief systems being gradually replaced by a living intelligence, when truth is known instinctively.
He points out that we have always had geniuses appearing around the world with extraordinary abilities, so expecting these talents to become more widespread – perhaps even the norm? Is not outside of the realm of possibility. In fact, he cites many scientific studies in the book that support such an understanding and possibility. Dennis, who has collaborated extensively with Ervin Laszlo, the “father” of the concept of the Akashic field," talks about the evolutionary development of a quantum consciousness within humanity that could even form the basis for the collective mind of our species.
We are energy beings, and it is known that magnetic energies and atmospheric variations impinging upon the planet can affect human memory and the nervous system. With the increase in solar storms, we can expect to see increasing effects on our bio-electric circuitry. He quotes a journal article that suggests that gene activation by magnetic fields could be due to a direct interaction with moving electrons within the DNA. Imagine if our so-called junk DNA were suddenly activated by the electromagnetic field of the solar flare.
Dennis does not restrict his speculation to our biology, but sees it in the context of changes that will inevitably be required in society; changes to our economic system, changes to our educational systems, and certainly changes to our spiritual worldviews. He sees the new economics as being more tangibly connected to value and worth rather than to unbridled accumulation of wealth; he anticipates that our quantum communication abilities (i.e. telepathy), will enable us to communicate with other intelligences in the universe and most importantly, that "for the first time in our known history, humanity will begin collectively to engage with, and participate consciously in, it's evolutionary purpose."
This is an intelligent, and intriguing romp through future history. It makes a very plausible case for the notion that we have some very exciting times ahead.
