Editor review
A totally delightful children's book with a profound story told with the whimsey one would expect from Jim Carey. Roland the wave discovers the great cycle of life, including its storms, friendship, love and even "death" on coastal sands. But then, as he retreats from the shore back to the depths, he discovers that he is a part of the vast beingness of water in all its forms.
Written in Dr. Seussian rhyme and masterfully illustrated, this book is a delight for the ears, eyes and spirit. It is a unique and charming way to introduce children to the concept of universal consciousness and oneness, and I believe it is destined to become a children's classic.
